Everything on the inside shifts as the outside becomes flexible. Step by step sequence for a one and half hour Thai Yoga treatment session

Level ll Assisted - assistance in moving symptoms energetically and physically through the system. Step by step structural alignment assessment series for pinpointing and releasing pain patterns, jump starting the body's natural ability to heal.

Level lll - Yoga - the giver manipulates the receivers body in yogic forms stretching and lengthening the core the receiver mirrors back movements at home to achieve continued core strength and balance  Step by step home practice to reinforce and take responsibility and release pain patterns. Level lV Alignment - education occurs through a formative effect from the way the experienced giver thinks, feels, and acts. The formal process by which the giver deliberately transmits accumulated knowledge, skills, customs and values to the receiver. Change the way you think change your life. Let go of the past, stay out of the future, be present.

Requirements 

Section l : General Knowledge Areas Human Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology All of these hours can be completed on-line

Must have 100 hours in the General Knowledge Area which includes courses whose subject matter is in the area of human anatomy, physiology and kinesiology.

Section ll : Core Knowledge Areas 100 of these hours can be completed on-line the other 100 work experience 

Formal Education/Training in Massage/ Bodywork

Must have 200 hours in the Core Knowledge Area which includes courses whose subject matter is in the area of therapeutic massage and bodywork.

Section lll : Adjunctive Knowledge/ Related Education and Training 100 of these hours can be completed on-line the other 100 work experience

May apply excess Core Knowledge Area (Section II) hours to the Adjunctive Knowledge Area (Section III) hours requirements.

Portfolio Review applicants may apply for credit for adjunct related educational courses pertinent to the profession of massage and bodywork therapies. The final 200 hours may be demonstrated through additional education or work experience. The additional education may include courses whose subject matter builds on the foundation of the core knowledge area of therapeutic massage. Specifically, adjunctive courses’ subject matter must include a minimum of 40 hours of pathology. Additional hours must be in the areas of clinical pathology and recognition of various conditions; touch therapy modalities; holistic principles; and professional standards, ethics and business practices.

Up to 200 hours of work experience may be credited to the candidate’s eligibility. Up to 100 hours will be allowed for Section II of the application and the remaining for Section III of the application. No work experience can be credited under Section I. The Portfolio Review Panel is responsible for reviewing all applications and supporting materials.
